I was born in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico, and raised in Eagle Pass, Texas. I graduated from Eagle Pass High School in 2008 and later attended the Middle Rio Grande Law Enforcement Academy (now SWTC Law Enforcement Academy) in 2012.
I have worked in law enforcement since 2013, serving in roles that required leadership, communication, and a commitment to public service. From 2023 to 2025, I served as the Public Information Officer for the Uvalde Police Department, where I was responsible for keeping the community informed during critical situations.
I currently serve as the Director of Security at Uvalde Memorial Hospital, where I continue my commitment to protecting and serving our community.
My family is my foundation. I have a beautiful fiancé and two children, one of whom attends school within Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District. Like many parents, I care deeply about the quality of education and safety in our schools.
I am also actively involved in the community. I have participated in Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and am a member of Sacred Heart Church in Uvalde, where I serve on the pastoral council.
I came to Uvalde in June 2022 during one of the most difficult times in this community’s history. I had no prior ties to Uvalde before the Robb Elementary tragedy, but I felt called to come here to help.
Since that time, I have committed myself to being a helping hand in this community. That same commitment is what led me to run for school board.
I believe our students, teachers, and families deserve strong leadership, accountability, and someone who is willing to step up and serve when it matters most.
